Jungle Fund: Learn about the small wild cats of the world
and what we can do to help save them! You will learn about the
conservation projects Jungle Encounters is supporting. In learning
about these projects, you will be introduced to the small wild
cats who these projects were created for, how they survive in
the wild and why they need our help.

Introduction
to Wildlife: Get a good understanding of wildlife, wild
animals, survival techniques, adaptations, evolution and conservation.
We will teach you about the different types of habitats wild animals
live in, how they survive, what they eat, what eats them, conservation
issues and some unique adaptations that help them in the wild.

Desert
Dwellers: Come join us and take a virtual trip into the
desert life of mammals! You wil learn how mammals survive in the
desert, how they hunt, what they prey on and how they have adapted
to life in harsh desert conditions. We will bring some desert
animals as well as a couple non-desert animals so you can compare
the physical differences between them!

Wildlife
Domestication: Dive into the world of domestication!
We like to think we have domesticated cats and dogs over the past
2,000 years. But have we really? When a cat or a dog gets scared,
it's wild instincts show through their reactions. Learn about
recent domestication processes, weigh the odds of whether or not
these animals could be put back into the wild and learn about
what animals we have failed to domesticate.

Wild
Night-Life: We will bring you into the mysterious world
of nocturnal mammals! Learn how these animals can see and hunt
in the dark, how their eyes are different from diurnal animals,
whey they like to hunt at night and how the cover of darkness
helps them survive!

Life in the
Canopy (coming soon):
Explore mammal life in the trees! We will take you up high into
the canopy cover of trees to teach you about mammals who prefer
to live in trees rather than live on the ground. You will be amazed
at how agile these mammals are at maneuvering through tree limbs!
You will discover how the trees protect these animals, how they
hunt on tree limbs and what types of foods are available up there
for them to eat! |
