Bobcats Among Us
In 2012 we are offering a show called 'Bobcats Among Us'. Bobcats have lived in Massachusetts and the surrounding states for many many years, but not many people have been lucky enough to see them in the wild. Why? They are a very elusive cat. In this show you will see our very own bobcat, Dakotah! You will learn it's history in Massachusetts, how many live in our state now, the challenges this species faces and the future for this cat in our state. By the end of the show your audience will have learned a great deal of valuable and interesting information about our native feline and will have a new respect for them in the wild!
*show can only be performed within 1/2hr driving distance from Uxbridge. Jungle Encounters reserves the right to approve or disapprove performing this show.

Nocturnal Felines
In 2012 we are offering a show called 'Nocturnal Felines'. In this show we bring three of our cats. We teach you about how each cat lives, what it preys on and what it's challenges are. You will learn about why these cats are called "nocturnal" and how it helps them survive in the wild. You will also learn about the Andean Cat and the Guina, two small South American cats, and the conservation projects for these cats that we support. By the end of the show your audience will have been enlightened by the presence of our beautiful cats, as well as learned that there are many species of small cats in the wild that need our help. The total cost for this show is $400: $300 goes directly to small cat conservation in South America and $100 goes to help care for our cats. By having this show you and your audience are DIRECTLY helping to save wild cats!

Important information about Our Shows
SHOW COST NOTE: A travel fee may apply depending on the travel distance to your facility.
Extras:
1. We will provide a handout that people can take home after the show. This handout has valuable information about the cats they have met and learned about at the show. They will be able to go online and learn more about these cats as well as donate to their cause if they desire to do so.
2. If you have a projector and screen please let us know! We can bring some picture slides and information to use during the show as a visual aid for the audience. If you don't have this equipment we can bring large pictures instead.
Do's and Don'ts: Because of the strong skiddish nature of small wild cats, we have some strict rules in place for our shows. There are NO exceptions to these rules. They are in place to protect YOUR audience and to provide you with the BEST possible show ever!
1. This show has to be performed inside in a meeting-style room, at least 20'x30'. We need you to provide a 6' or 8' long rectangular table that is 3' away from a wall to display the cats on. We need 8-10 feet of space between the table and the audience to serve as a protective barrier.
2. This show can only be offered to people ages 6-106. No one under 6 years old is allowed into the show. This is because younger kids look like "prey" to the cats and younger kids find it hard to sit still for a long period of time. If they start moving around or talking it will scare the cats. You can offer this show to school age kids, tweens & teens or adults. You can also offer it to all of these ages as a mixed group!
3. The audience has to be prepped by you before they enter the room that they need to be extremely quiet throughout the show and can't move around while the cats are out. Again, this is to provide safety for your audience as well as give you a great show without interruption.
4. For the safety of the public there is NO touching the cats. This is a state law that we must abide by. We understand that part of learning is feeling and touching things, so we will provide a few things for the audience to come up and see after the show.
